Brandlesholme Residents’ Association was formed in 1973, when a group of public-spirited residents felt it important to protect and advance the mutual interest of all the residents of the district of Brandlesholme.

For over 60 years we have monitored developments in our community and acted as best we can to enhance the district, especially on issues concerning the Environment, Planning and Public Safety. Today, the Association still raises a significant voice for the residents of Brandlesholme in these and other related issues.

We maintain links with Bury MB Council: local Councillors also listen to our concerns, advise us on matters of procedure and help us to resolve difficulties as they are able. We enjoy excellent relationships with the Police and work with them, seeking to keep Brandlesholme a safe and pleasant place in which to live. We publicise local community groups and churches in our magazine “Brabull”and support local community projects as we are able.

We have a current membership of just over 1100 homes and, if you are not yet a member of the Association, we would warmly welcome you to join us. We achieve more together than we can do alone.
